Voltsure does not collect, store or share any personal data. There is no account, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
What the app does with data
- Battery readings from your monitors (voltage and the time of each reading) are stored only on your device. They never leave it.
- Names and settings you give your batteries and vehicles are stored only on your device.
- Voltsure works fully offline and has no servers. Your readings, names and settings are never uploaded anywhere.
- The app never asks for your location.
Apple’s App Store
Purchases and app verification are handled by Apple through the App Store, under Apple’s privacy policy. Voltsure receives only whether a purchase was made, never your name, Apple ID or payment details.
Bluetooth
Voltsure uses Bluetooth only to read your battery monitors and the Victron devices you add. Bluetooth is used directly between your device and the monitor or Victron device; nothing passes through any other service. A Victron device’s encryption key, which you paste in from VictronConnect, is kept in your device’s Keychain, on that device only, and is never sent anywhere.
Notifications
Low-voltage alerts are created on your device. They are not sent from a server.
Exporting your data
You can export your readings as a CSV file from Settings → Data & Storage. Where that file goes is up to you; Voltsure does not send it anywhere.
Deleting your data
Delete all readings from Settings → Data & Storage, or delete the app to remove everything it stored.
Children
Voltsure collects no data from anyone, including children.
